The Yule Street route runs from Rongotai Road to the Leonie Gill Pathway. There are two options for this section of road.
The impacts on intersections, pedestrian crossings and driveways will be detailed in the next stage of design and available for feedback in November.
The bike lanes will increase driver awareness of people on bikes. Traffic speeds will reduce due to narrower traffic lanes and this will improve safety. This option has a higher cost than Option B, however the likely uptake by people on bikes is similar.

Likely uptake by people on bikes: Moderate to high increase
